ConfPro (Pty) Ltd, trading as ConfPro.
Estimates and proposals
Prices shown on this site and in the estimator are indicative. A booking is made only when you accept a written proposal and sign the event agreement. Proposals show prices including VAT and all fees, as ECTA s43 requires.
Deposits and payment
Bookings are secured with the deposit set out in your proposal. The balance is payable on the dates in your payment schedule. We accept card and instant EFT through PayFast and Ozow, and EFT against invoice.
Cancellation
Cancellations are governed by our cancellation and refund policy and by the Consumer Protection Act. No cancellation fee applies if you cannot attend because of death or hospitalisation.
Cooling-off
Where ECTA s44 applies to an online booking, you may cancel within seven days without reason or penalty. Bookings for services on a fixed date may be excluded under s42(2); your proposal will say if this applies.
Electronic signatures
You agree that accepting a proposal online and typing your name constitutes a valid electronic signature under ECTA for the event agreement.
Liability
We take reasonable care in selecting and managing suppliers. Our liability is limited to the fees paid to ConfPro for the event, except where the law does not allow such a limit.
Law and disputes
South African law applies. Consumers may also approach the National Consumer Commission or the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud.
