Your right to cancel
Under section 17 of the Consumer Protection Act you may cancel an advance booking. We may charge a reasonable cancellation fee that reflects the notice you gave, our ability to re-use the date and costs we have already committed.
Standard schedule
Unless your proposal sets a different schedule, the cancellation fee is a share of the total booking value:
- 90 days or more before the event: 10% (normally covered by your deposit)
- 30 to 89 days before: 50%
- Less than 30 days before: 90%
- We never retain 100% of a booking.
Death or hospitalisation
No cancellation fee is charged if you, or the person the booking was for, cannot attend because of death or hospitalisation. Any deposit is refunded in full.
Postponement
We will try to move your event to a new date before treating it as a cancellation. Supplier costs that cannot be moved are shown to you before you decide.
Tickets
Tickets bought for public events can be transferred or resold at face value through our official resale. Refunds for tickets follow the event’s published terms and the CPA.
Refunds
Refunds are paid within 15 working days to the account or card you paid from.
